About this course
Following a review of traditional views of war and peace and an examination of political uses of violence in general, students will analyze in some detail non-violent approaches to peaceful change, with special emphasis on their applicability to international relations. The course will deal with the United Nations and other international organizations, and with movements engaged in the peaceful resolution of international conflicts.
