About this course
This course explores the impact of behavior, attitudes, health promotion, and prevention techniques on health and illness, with specific attention to heart disease, immunological functioning, cancer, and HIV/AIDS. The social and psychological effects of medical conditions and death are addressed. The provider-patient relationship, health care delivery, and workplace health are also examined.
