About this course
This is a film history and appreciation course with special emphasis on such topics as genre, directorial style, and filmmaking techniques. Students are required to watch and take notes on full-length films and discuss and analyze them. Students will learn about various aspects of cinema and demonstrate their mastery of the material in assignments such as essays, quizzes, presentations.
