About this course
Critical assessment and evaluation of human resources management (HRM)policies and practices. Emphasized skills include: understanding performanceappraisal forms; conducting basic job analysis and applying understanding ofjob requirements to other HRM systems such as selection and compensation;related applications of theories on managing people in organizations. Personnelfunctions in larger organizations; attitudes toward work; role of government,public interest groups and unions in determining job environment.Development of manpower and management resources; planning manpowerneeds, management of compensation programs.
