About this course
Analysis of the current state of publishing for books, journalism, literary journals, and self-publishing on social media platforms. Attention to the structure, power dynamics, and diversity of media outlets and trains students to evaluate their legitimacy and their output. NOTE: Non-majors/minors who wish to take this course should see an English advisor for permission. Prerequisite: Declared English Major/Minor or declared Professional Communications Minor.
