About this course
This course explores the dynamic intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Biology, offering a comprehensive overview of how machine learning algorithms are transforming various aspects of biological research. From genomic analysis to drug discovery and medical imaging, participants will gain insights into the applications, methodologies, and ethical considerations of AI in the field of biology. The AI in Biology Course is a for-credit course designed to prepare sophomore and rising junior students for successful internships in the field of biology. This course will cover technical skills, professional skills, and the essential knowledge needed to secure and excel in these internships within the industry. Students are expected to pursue an internship with companies working at the intersection of AI and Biology the summer following the successful completion of the course.
